Winter in the Dolomites

Skiing in the Val di Fassa means being able to choose every day among 9 different ski areas. Ski fans will have access to more than 80 up-to-date lifts, 220 km slopes of any difficulty and an average of 8 days of sun out of ten. Moreover a modern snow-making system guarantees slopes always in perfect conditions from the beginning until the end of the season.
It is impossible to get bored, thanks to the direct links to the neighbouring areas of the Dolomiti Superski, the biggest ski carousel in the world, famous for the Sellaronda, the ski tour across the four Dolomite passes around the Sella massif.

Besides the Sellaronda (Four Passes Tour), 3 skitours, 4 snowparks, 220 km and 115 ski slopes always in perfect conditions thanks to the advanced snowmaking system, served by 86 up-to-date lifts which guarantee a fast and effective transportation to the highest altitudes.
Beginning with the enchanting Campiedie (God's field), 2000 meters of altitude, which towers exactly over the "Alpen Hotel Corona" and gives its name to one of the most renowned ski areas. There are slopes of different levels: from the "Thoeni" slope, which measures 4,5 km, to the black slope "Alberto Tomba", named after the champion from Bologna who used to train here during his career. He and his teacher, Thoeni, chose the "Alpen Hotel Corona" for their stays.

Val di Fassa is one of the most complete and famous ski districts in the Dolomites with 9 different ski areas, linked to each other by means of slopes or skibus services: Belvedere-Pordoi, Ciampac, Fedaia-Marmolada, Col Rodella-Sella Pass, Buffaure, Catinaccio-Ciampedie and Costalunga Pass for the Val di Fassa/Carezza district (accessible with the Val di Fassa-Carezza or Dolomiti Superski passes), Alpe di Lusia-San Pellegrino-Falcade for the TreValli area (accessible with the TreValli or Dolomiti Superski ski-passes).
√ ALPEN HOTEL CORONA NEWS: private hotel-shuttlebus to the Alpe Lusia and SellaRonda ski area, departure in the morning and return in the late afternoon, 4 times a week.
